that is what you are seeing up river
it was 15 acres of alders and creeks and pools
it culminated with the loss of the house on this property
this is not a natural occurance
the river was pushed out of its traditional channel
by the mis-management practices of the national park
and maintained by the rules and regulations
of all goverment agencies that should have been doing their utmost to
save it
if you look downriver to the stack of logs
there is the next drainage system the river seeks to claim
along with 5 more homes
as it floods the valley all the way to the lake
